Functions of FF-Translator

The utility translate

• Functions & Formulas from the local language to english.
   

• Functions & Formulas to the local language from english.

 

It is an easy procedure to translate:

1. Write or paste in the formula to be translated in one of the available textfield. The "=" is required.

2. Click on the button Translate.

3. To copy the translated formula to active cell on the active sheet click on the button Copy formula.

If the syntax of the formula is wrong an error-message will be displayed.

When the formula has been copied to the active cell an apostrophe has been added in front of the formula:

'=SUM(A1:A4)

To activate the formula remove the apostrophe.

Please note

The utility does not work with:

- English version of MS Excel because all english terms are missing in MS Excel built-in database.

- Functions that are part of the Analysis Toolpak add-in because they are all langugage specific.

- MS Excel 97 or lower version of MS Excel.

Following files are installed on the local computer and in the same folder:

• FFTranslator.xls according to users choice.

• FFT.chm according to users choice.

The FF-Translator is distributed as FREEWARE.

The FF-Translator  can not be part of any shareware or commercial software unless permission has been given from XL-Dennis
